How can I use this game with an automatic transmission in training mode?
I specifically bought this to train my kid and I think I wasted my money.
In the USA, most cars are automatic now.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hi. It is possible to change this.

Go to your game files (Not the one in documents)
Capture_2017-08-19.JPG


Open all of these, except for the one with _points.

Find the line.
CarModel="cars/Car##"

Change it to
CarModel="cars/Car28"

Then find the line
GearBox="manual"

Change it to
GearBox="automatic"

Good luck :) . It works for me. If you really want, you can change the car## to the codename of any mod, and you can learn to drive using any car already in the game.
