Hello, associates/members at City Car Driving.

I've recently been faced with a problem that occurs when I try to launch the game. I have bought it through steam, my steam username is "flyingracooon" ( Yes, it's spelled wrong ) So, the issue is when I try to launch the game, a blank screen appears, with a small white box in the top left of my screen. Keep in mind, I have a triple monitor setup, so therefore it is on the far left monitor, top left. Anyway, so when I click on the white box, it prompts me with the message "Starter Application had Stopped Working" this makes so sense to me, as I was playing the game not too long ago without any issue.

Additional information;

I play with a wheel, the Fanatec CSR Elite
My DxDiag report should be attached (My system specs exceed the recommended)
I've tried to uninstall the game and re-install it multiple times
I've cleared the cache, and repaired game files
I used to have a non-steam version, but I converted the key and therefore have CCD through steam now

^
All of that to no solution. I still get the same thing when launching the game.

Below are some screenshots of my error.

I have tried literally everything I could, and now it's time to ask the community. I tried contacting support, and they said that there is no multi-monitor support, which I know is false, as I have always played on triple monitors.

Sorry if I didn't explain anything well enough!
Thanks so much :)

Thanks for all the information.

Something that doesn't happen often, in times when we need it.

The solution pretty simple, just wait and eventually the game starts. This happens to me sometimes.

Let me know if the issue still persists.

Thanks so much man! I tried my best, and as a separate forum administrator, I understand how frustrating it can be, when the victim doesn't provide enough information.

I will try your remedy, and see what happens. How long roughly does it take?

EDIT: *sigh* I unplugged my wheel and the game started right up... That's so weird. It is working now though. Thanks again for your help! @TheJVIDChannel

EDIT after the first EDIT: Oh my lord... It's happening again. My game crashed, then it went back to the little white box in the corner hahahhaaha.... Oh well. Time to play the waiting game.

I remember this happening with the Logitech G920 as well. Did this issue arise with the normal version, or just Steam? If both versions, what TJ listed above will not do anything. It is just a fix that solves profile corruption, which doesn't seem to be your issue judging by the situation you listed about unplugging the wheel and the game starting. Is the steering wheel plugged into the front of the tower, the back, and what kind of USB port?

Ehh.. Tried that. The only way I can launch my game successfully is if I unplug my wheel, load the game, then plug it back in. Kind of annoying, but oh well. It works.

Yeah, It's a usb 3.0 port, and my wheel works with any other game.. Like I said above, I will just have to unplug my wheel, launch the game, then plug it back in. Not a huge deal, but it is kinda annoying.

Thanks guys for your help c:

This is a really fincky thing I've found with some games with my wheel is that it has to be plugged into a USB 2.0 port to start up properly. Give this a shot. I hope it is resolved, and if not, that the issue isn't too annoying for you.

Cheers buddy, and sorry for the late reply.

I plugged my wheel into a USB 2.0 Port, and sure enough it's been working. Thanks for all your help.

Happy New Year (sorta late but whatever)!

That is quite interesting your wheel works in a 2.0. Mine only works in a 3.0. I guess it depends on the wheel :)
