TOPIC: Only 5 gears with G29

Only 5 gears with G29 15 Feb 2017 03:00 #99288

Hi, I have a G29, and I have noticed that with modded cars, no matter how many manual gears the mod says the car has, when I'm ingame I can only select 5 + reverse and neutral, am I doing something wrong and if so what? and how can I fix this? Thanks for any support and for taking the time to read my problem, and sorry if I put this in the wrong place.

Hi.

The modders haven't bothered to change the Manual UI for the mods gears. Even though it says 5, it most likely has more than that like 6 or 7. You just can't physically see that.

Yes.

It still uses the extra non-displayed gears when you shift lets say to 6, but it won't display it in the game.

When the shifter is set to 6th, the car is indeed in 6th even though the UI says 5. It's more of a mod issue than a wheel issue ;)
