Those files don't work for me ether,but here is the Russian link www.multisoft-web.ru/forum/viewforum.php?f=19 they have bunch of cars to choose from,but you have to install them one buy one,..click on Скачать: to download the file and before you install it make sure it has the folder 3di_home ( data/gui/3di_home/imagesets/cars ) if it's missing it's not gonna work,...and then click on Установка: to copy and paste the text in C:/Program Files(86)/Car City Driving/data/config/player_cars ....I it works for me i hope it helps...you have to have the latest version of the game to make it work...
