How to change game mission car by minion

STEP 1: go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Forward Development\City Car Driving Home Edition\data\missions\home /home_left for left handed English/Australian/Hongkong, ect. Users.
STEP 2:locate the mission you want to change cars (not....._points files)(backup first) the missions are in ingame order.
STEP 3:run notepad as administrator, select all files at the bottom right, open the mission file and locate this bit: CarModel="cars/Car28" or whatever number it is.
STEP 4: open a new tab and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Forward Development\City Car Driving Home Edition\data\gamedata\cars and copy the name of the car you want and replace Car28 with it.
PS: in some missions the camera can't be changed (like the mountain mission) and if your mod car has more cams you might not be able to play the mission (like with the Cadillac Escalade)

Open that first file in Notepad. Do this by double clicking, Notepad will open it by default.

Under this heading are the rules for the American/Russian way of driving, which is labeled "Right-Hand Traffic" in-game. You should see different things such as City.max = XX. Replace those numbers with the speeds that you would like to correspond to the labels. Make sure not to delete any spaces or equals.

You will need:
Gimp 2 addon (to edit dds textures) - http://registry.gimp.org/node/70
Gimp 2 (it is free program) - http://www.gimp.org/downloads/
1.find - ForwardDevelopment/City Car Driving Home Edition/export/texturedds
2.You have got 5 folders. Select one and open next for example cars/Car01
3.Open Gimp 2 and put one of images of car folder into it
4.Now you can edit texture and after it click file-export IT IS IMPORTANT TO CHANGE EXTENSION TO DDS !
5.Put texture in folder Car01 and launch City car Driving Important ! The name of texture before and after must be same !

Hello!
There is a new modding opportunity - possibility of changing sounds for user cars! But how to change these sounds? In this topic we'll try to help users-modmakers understand this new featute and provide some instructions.
So...
Sound support is carried out using the Microsoft Cross-Platform Audio Creation Tool (XACT) from the Microsoft DirectX SDK (June 2010). A brief introduction in English how to use it you can find on Mictrosoft web site here - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff827590.aspx
In order to hear an audio in your project, you need to run the utility AudConsole3.exe, which is included in this SDK, or when you press the play button - it will display an error.
In order to change the sound, you should just put a wav-files with matching names (listed in the list wavbank) in the appropriate folder. If you prefer, you can tune up the settings. Then you should build the project, and ready library (three files. Xgs. Xwb. Xsb) need to be placed in the data\audio folder in the game. Then you should put the proper line in carproperty settings file to the car you wish to mod.
Actually the procedure should be:
Open the project file, save it with a new name, for example as "Porche911". Allocate the project name in the list on the left (NewCar), you have to set a convenient path to Windows Global Settings (bottom left). Selects Wave Bank, bottom left prescribe the necessary Windows Build Path with the correct name of the file. Select Sound Bank, prescribe the necessary Windows Build Path. In the Wave Bank-e have to write each name of the file into a string Source Path (on the left in the box, General). Press the button "Builds the current projects". In setted paths (in theory should be the only one path) you'll get three files: .Xgs, .Xwb, .Wsb. You only need two: .Xwb and .Wsb, you should copy them to the folder data\audio in the game. In the line carproperty SoundBankName = prescribe the name of your library, for example as "Porche911".

I'm sure we all have cars in the game that have very few color options, and we want to add more color options to a car, but unfortunately, we don't know how.
I've discovered a way to add more color options to a car in the game. See this blue Toyota on my profile pic? This car only has 2 color options - black and white. Simulationdude PM'd me regarding the car in the profile pic. Here's a part of the message:

So, I've decided to make this simple tutorial on adding color options to cars. Let's begin.
Step 1: Finding the color (click spoiler)

Of course, we should have a color in mind. Open any program that has a color drum or wheel, and get the RGB variables. The RGB variables should be of a darker shade of the same color you want on your car because the colors are lightened up in the game. In this case, the color I want is navy blue, so the RGB variables should be of a very dark blue. If you don't get it right, try again. Here's an example using MS paint:
Go to Edit colors and find a dark shade of the color you want for your car (NOTE: The color I picked looks like black in the color wheel, but it's actually a very dark blue)

Step 2: Putting the color in the car

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Forward Development\City Car Driving Home Edition\data\gamedata\cars\*Your car* and open CarProperty.ini. Find the line that says [BodyColors]. Under this line, you will see lines that look like this:

Leave a space under the last color option, and below that space, write this:
Color = (color = your R variable;Your G variable;Your B variable; 255 , Probability=Your probability)

Save the file as CarProperty.ini to the desktop, and move it back to the folder where it came from and overwrite the original CarProperty.ini file. It will deny access if you save it directly to where it came from, so save it to desktop first.
Step 3: Adding pictures to the car selection screen

Open City Car Driving, and choose the car you added the color to. The picture of the car in the selection screen will be this:
Select another color. You won't know what color the car will spawn with because the menu picture does not change. If your car spawns with another color, choose another color. Once you are able to spawn the car with the color you want, take a screenshot of it by pressing F12. After taking the screenshot, go to C:\Users\*Your name*\Documents\Forward Development\City Car Driving\screenshots and find your screenshot. Once you find it, resize it to 564x290. Rename it to its color number, and save it as a .png file. I don't quite know how to explain the process, so here's a picture(click to enlarge):
If your new color is the 3rd color option, it's color2. If it's the 4th, it's color3. If it's the 5th, color4, and so on. In this case, our new color option is the 3rd color option. So your resized screenshot should be renamed color2. Move it to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Forward Development\City Car Driving Home Edition\data\gui\home\imagesets\cars\*Your car*
Make another resized copy of this screenshot. It's size should be 107x68. Save it as small2 (or small3 or small4 or small5, just like the name of the previous picture) and save it in the same folder as color2. So it will look like this:

Works fine but the only problem is that the wheels are all glitched up.

What prob are you putting in. Also, make sure the codes are formatted correctly. I had an issue where prob was spelled wrong.
I'm putting in the prob that all the other modded traffic cars have (0.043) and the code is put in correctly if yo want a could give you my traffic cars.XML file
