I downloaded a few mods, it was a .rar file so I looked up a video. I had to download Notepad++ and go into the config and paste in the characters. I thought i was fine, ran the game and crashed instantly. So I need help. (I've posted some pictures showing the steps.

Hello,
All the parameters are in order, so it's not a problem with the document, it's with the mod files. Is this mod for 1.5.0? Did you save the file as .xml?

Well, i just pressed the 'save' button but let me go back and press 'save as' instead

it happened to me after the last steam update and im not sure its bcuz of mods or soomthing i messed up but i re download the game it works great after

How do I re-download? Do I just download one of the mirror files? Also do I need to unintall the game from my PC first? After it's done downloading, do I need to type out my game key again or will it remember it?

and yea tha thing is u have to deal with the activation again cuz what i did was unistaling the game didnt wanted it to messed up even more

OK I might have to reinstall now, I went back to the youtube video and saw some comment saying to delete the player_cars file, now I get this(Attached pic) but I'm scared I have to buy the game again

no bro u dont have the buy the game again cuz when u unistall it in desactivate n u can activate it with the same seriel number over here www.activate.citycardriving.com/

So go into the control panel and unstall completely, then download the entire game again correct?
Did you download one of the two mirrors or full version 1.5?
