I downloaded "CCD Mod Installer by Daeman v1.5.0" on 2 February 2016 and found that when I try to install .pkg mods, it pops up an error message after I click the "Install Mod" button, saying that it cannot define my City Car Driving game version and cannot install the mod. It also suggests that I may have chosen the wrong CCD folder, but I did in fact choose the correct one. I have played CCD previously and used the same installer (same version) to install my mods, and no error has occurred. However, after I re-installed CCD, this error message kept popping up every time I tried. I realised that this was a very recent thing as nobody mentioned this issue before 2 February. Can someone please find a solution to this?

Are you running it as administrator?

Yes, I always right-click and select "Run As Administrator" when I install mods with the installer.

Me neither, I guess you're the only one with this problem

*Sarcasm off*

Someone should simply start deleting threads about this, I can't believe some people are too dumb to use the search function or simply scroll down.

I can verify this problem exists, and is real. The Deaman installer marked "this installer is used to install for City Car Driving 1.5.0" will not accept the proper CCD installation directory and, after choosing a proper mod file (install goes black) it will only give "Version of CCD not defined". Ran as Admin, Windows 8.1 64-bit.

I wonder whether this could be due to the diffrent language versions defaulting to different absolute directory locations, and the relative directory %VARIABLE% not being used?

Quite possible. I have a Polish version of Windows, normally I have the Program Files(x86) folder but in Daeman Mod Installer when I select "Choose Folder CCD" displays me Pliki Programów(x86). Strange because earlier it was good.

sry my english(?) :)
