TOPIC: Can't activate

Hello,

I bought City Car Driving about a year ago (1.2). Now I installed 1.3 but I cannot activate, key is wrong. I can't find anything about an upgrade to 1.3. Tried to upgrade (buy it) with the product code from 1.2 but that isn't valid either.

How can I activate 1.3? Windows 8.1, running the sim as Administrator. Windows 7 compatibility mode also didn't work. Please help.

try windows xp sp3 compatibility mode or windows vista sp2 compatibility mods

Wow long time ago.

Im really not too sure. You would have to get in contact with Kivlov about it or maybe Jericho, one of them. Don't purchase a new one until you know you have to.

Is the game installed on your computer somewhere else, or is it activated on another computer?

You can only use the serial key to activate one copy, it deactivates when you install it, allowing you to re-install the game. If you have multiple games using the same key it won't accept the key.

Instruction how to install and activate the game:

1. Follow this link - www.files.citycardriving.com/CityCarDriving_En.exe to download the game.

2. Run the downloaded installation file with administrator privileges (right click on it and choose "Run as administrator in the context menu) and follow instructions of the setup wizard. During the installation process you should agree on installing all additional software, because it's necessary for correct program operation.

Now you should obtain the program activation key:

3. After installation of the program is finished, run the installed game with administrator privileges (right click on the game's shortcut and choose "Run as administrator in the context menu).

4. Copy the product code from the game startup window.

5. Follow this link - www.activate.citycardriving.com/

6. On the web page you've just opened you should enter: your serial number, the product code you have just copied, and your e-mail.

The activation key will be displayed on the final page, after you'll click the "Activate" button.

7. Enter your activation key into the box in the game startup window and click "Registration" button.

I activated it years ago, since then I formatted my PC several times without uninstalling it. Could that be the problem?
