I bought and tried this game. It was terrible. Sorry. I knew it is arcade but still..

Pros:

- Wheel support of course
- Turn signals
- Fast top speed
- Looks good
- Points, it's cool to beat your homies

Cons:

- This shouldn't be arcade so handling. Because of handling i'll never play this again until update
- Sounds could be better. Same to City Car Driving
- Only one car. I understand that this is new and whit same car people can try to beat each other but make more cars and own points to them

I really enjoy City Car Driving and i see huge potential in these games so i'll be there if you guys need feedback. I will update my comments if i see something new.

Just make it better, i think you guys have somethings in your minds, just do it. And fuck that arcade, people wants to try their driving skills in autobahn but not with arcade driving mode.. Thats for sure!
It isn't a simulator, but a racing game. The arcade steering is fine for this game.

I've enjoyed CCD overall, so I thought I'd take a chance on your Autobahn arcade racing game and here are my thoughts so far. I absolutely love the sensation of speed, especially from the hood view, as it's definitely put a smile on my face a number of times. You definitely have to get used to the fact that no matter how fast your going, the car will stick to the road like glue which means no sliding whatsoever.

I do understand it's an arcade racer, but even going back in time to games like Daytona USA, the cars would still slide a bit especially at high speeds which would require more user skill to compensate. In your Autobahn game however, it's basically 100% reaction time and nothing else. That doesn't make the game bad, but it might be worth it to consider implementing a slider allowing the user to decide and adjust how tight or loose they want their car to handle. I would also love to see some kind of replay system that allows me to go back and watch my awesome crashes. I've already had a couple of laugh out loud moments where I crashed and then went flying and flipping through the air. It would've been great to have been able to watch that in a replay. One other thing I'll mention is that the word "checkpoint" that flashes in the middle of the screen while driving is quite distracting, so maybe you could think about making the word smaller or moving it away from center.

Other than that though, overall for $5 I really can't complain as I can definitely see it helping with reaction speed, which is very important to maintain in life anyway, and the main thing about the game is that it's plain and simple fun overall. Thanks.

I'll eat my earlier words, totally! I love this game as it is!

Now when i think about this game again... It's probably my favorite game on PC. I really enjoy this shit!

What changed my mind? Understanding that crazy, excellent handlind :) Earlier i tested this game quickly. My bad. Now i enjoy it cause i get it now. Crazy driving :woohoo:

Few rounds and i am 1st on achievements, go ahead and beat my scores B)

Still it would be nice to be able to change between arcade and simulation handling in options. It would be nice to drift through it with that drift car, BMW M3 E36..

BTW after 30min Autobahn, it makes me wanna go drift cruise to City Car Driving with BMW M3 E36.. :woohoo:

I posted my initial impressions after a few hours of playing the game, and now after substantially more hours of playing time I can easily call it one of my favourite arcade reaction driving games I've ever played. It's awesome that the faster you drive the more points you can accumulate but that you risk taking more damage from hitting another car or barrier and once your car is down to 0% it's game over.

If you drive a bit slower to give yourself more of a chance to avoid the traffic, then you risk running out of time to get to the next checkpoint which is great as well. So the game basically encourages you to drive fast and to do your best at avoiding the constant flow of traffic. It's a great feeling of accomplishment if you're able to go even 30 seconds without hitting something as you watch the points rack up. The only major bug I've encountered is that every time that I quit to go back to the main menu now to change to another mode, the game stops responding and then I have to load it once again. I hope the developer's can get this bug fixed quickly as it's annoying to constantly reload the game when I want to switch modes, even though it's a quick loading game. I never encountered this issue with City Car Driving, but in Autobahn it's now happening even after a fresh system reboot.

Overall though, I truly highly recommend the game especially for $5, as it will most likely give you many hours of arcade driving enjoyment especially with a wheel. :)

Suggestions:
Clutch option;
Option to hide most of thing in the screen.
Missions with time, checkpoint to checkpoint.
New menu.
Less resistant car, to make it more difficult.

As I just mentioned in the post your score section, the achievements do not track anything over 9 numbers, so once you hit a billion points it won't show you your proper score. The game has also now become very easy because once you find the sweet spot for speed to avoid traffic and make it across checkpoints in time could mean the possibility of driving for hours in one game session.
Maybe the developer's could consider removing the repair vehicle bonus as that would definitely help to make it more challenging and I personally don't care for that feature anyway, because you know if you can drive safely for a minute or two, that at some point you'll get the repair bonus if you're vehicle has been damaged.

Still a great game, but just a few little tweaks here and there could make it even better and more challenging. :)
