It's not that hard, especially in the right car, like shown above.
I'm quite a good drifter on other games, but its harder on keyboard control.

Just start of with a powerful RWD car and try to drift on big bends, using the handbrake can help. Then make your way up to harder stuff, like all skills.

The Holden which comes in the game is really good for drifting, even in auto mode. I use automatic all the time as I don't have a clutch and h shifter.
