Will 3DS Max 9 work on Windows 10. I heard it only works on 7 and below.

You need 3DS Max 13 for the nvx2. Look at his Download section.

I converted the original .carbin to .obj using Forza. Then I converted .obj to .3ds using 3ds Max 2013. Then I tried to convert .3ds to .nvx2 in 3ds Max 9, and it didn't work properly. All plugins were installed correctly.
