If you install a mod 1.5.2 or below in 1.5.3, it wouldn't come up in the menu to select the color of the car. This issue can be quite annoying, so here is how to fix it.

Firstly, open your City Car Driving Directory. It should be located here: C:/Program Files (X86)/Steam/steamapps/common/City Car Driving

After locating your directory, go to data/gui. In this folder you should see 2 folders without any 1.5.2 or below mods. The two folders in question are Common and ccd. When you have installed a 1.5.2 or below mod, there will be a third folder called home. Inside home, there will be a few folders.

To get the proper GUI car previews back, locate the cars name in the home folder. I will use the Mercedes S63 AMG by Ksenon116rus as an example. To get to the imagesets for the cars, follow this file path: data/gui/home/imagesets/cars. After finding this folder click and drag the car(s) out of that folder on to your desktop.

After you've done that, go back to the data/gui folder. Once back to those folders, go to ccd/imagesets/cars. Then, drag and drop the car(s) folder(s) that you've just dragged out onto your desktop, into the data/gui/ccd/imagesets/cars folder.
