I must tell you that I'm a little annoyed. I've played this game for years now. I've NEVER had as much problems in the career mode as I've had in the current version. I literally can not get out of the "test track"...Can't seem to park in the garage entry...I'm not one to complain, but (for me at least)...it is IMPOSSIBLE to park this damn car into the garage entry. "Didn't cross the control line...Didn't cross the control line...Didn't cross the control line..." Over and over and over...for almost an hour. Well, if you can't pass the track test, then you can't progress...Can't open "Southern District" or any of the higher levels. I am beyond annoyed because I've had different version of this game and NEVER had a problem like this. Well, that's it for my venting. Hope someone out there takes a look at what's going on with the "test track>Garage Entry...As for me...I guess I'm done...

If you reverse into the box and stop even for a second and then start moving again before the front of the car has passed the line at the front of the box you will get the “Didn’t cross the control line” error message. You have to start reversing into the box and correcting the direction of the car whilst continuelly moving back.

What controllers are you using? keyboard, mouse or steering wheels and pedals? are they set up properly?

Also make sure the camera angle is outside of the car looking down from above. it is impossible to see what’s happening from inside the car looking out.

You may have to just keep trying until you do it. It took me nine months to pass the city car driving test and nearly four years to pass the professional levels but I eventually did it without resorting to cheating.

Well, I'm using Logitech Driving Force GT...Same wheel and peddles I've been using for about 4 years. Here's the thing: Well I got a new computer, it seems like all my old achievements were lost??? So, I've had to start all over again...New computer...new version of the sim...

It is MUCH harder than it used to be (IMHO)...Anyway...I'll keep trying...What else do I have to do with my time???Thanks, anyway...

Just use the unlocker.

Yes you just use the unlocker but what sense of achievement will you get from doing that? I have unlocked all the levels by beating all the challenges i came up against not just by simply cheating.
