Hi all

due to a programming challenge I encountered the following problem: I want to be able to send virtual keypresses from a Python Script (or AHK script) to City Car Driving (CCD) running in window mode in order to trigger some action (e.g., start playback by pressing “P” in the recording mode).

I already tried out some approaches like pressing virtual keys with the pyautogu module, using a DirectInput function with Scan Codes and also calling a AutoHotKey script for the keypress, none of which worked. I tried out those keypress scripts on other games and they were functioning well.

Interestingly, I can virtually press the ESCAPE key in the game, but none of the other keys… Also the ESCAPE key cannot be assigned to any other action in the control menu.

Do you have an idea what the exact issue is here? Help would be much appreciated!
