You sure? It worked fine before and it wasn't plugged into the wall. And my wheel only has USB cables so there's no way I could plug it directly into a wall.

Well that's the way it was with my Driving Force GT. However, this happens to me on occasion, try to restart your computer, if you haven't already.

How frustrating, does your wheel have any software to test it for example my thrustmaster has a control panel I can load up and then test all the buttons and petals. It would be helpful to determine if your wheel is actually working. Testing it with another game also would be helpful this will determine if its physical vs configuration.

Second of all in the settings when you set the game to control mode of steering wheel is your type of wheel supported? Mine was supported but only a pro version and I don't have the pro version. As a result I had to change all my key bindings, my game thinks my gas pedal is the clutch now but it works.

If you have installed the drivers it might help to uninstall them in reinstall them if possible. Just grasping at straws if nothing else comes form the above steps.

My wheel doesn't have any software or anything, it's like I plug it in, I play. But I am sure my wheel works because I'm using it on ETS2 and it works perfectly fine. My wheel is supported because I was playing CCD for a year and one day the game just wouldn't want to recognize the wheel.

are you sure your steeringwheel doesn't have any software? I'm watching this topic for a while now, but I found some sites with software for your wheel. do you know the exact name and type of your steeringwheel?

The exact name of my steering wheel is Canyon CNG-GW3. And I searched for some software and I found some in the backpages of Google.

UPDATE: I've installed the driver I've found somewhere in the backpages of Google and the driver was from 2008. I've started up my game and it finally works! Thanks to everyone for helping!
