Hello city driving community. I just got my environment set up. I have an HTC vive pro and a thrust master TMX force feedback. I finally got it set up and tried it out. A couple things I noticed
1.) there seems to be no Thrust master TMX force feedback standard profile only the TMX pro version. When I use the pro profile for the standard thrustmaster the acceleration gets stuck on until I change the accelerator key binding for the gas pedal to be the clutch. No big deal I changed the key bindings and it works with no issues but I was wondering if that might helps someone with the same problem. Just use the pro change the clutch to automatic and key bind the clutch to the gas pedal.
2.) I got a pretty severely motion sick with vertigo from the VR setting, I didn't try the aerial view outside the car. I will try that. For now I am using the monitor to avoid motion sickness. I think some kind of horizon lock would be good, my brain can't seem to handle the car bumping around without my body actually experiencing it. That might make the experience less realistic but at the moment I get motion sick within seconds of moving in the car in the VR environment.
3.) are there any plans to add some AI to the drivers and pedestrians. Its funny if you hit someone's car they have no reaction. I was thinking like a grand theft auto the NPC in that game really react to all the things you do. No big deal but I was just wondering this game could not only be fun to learn driving or just as a general experience but also to cause mayhem like GTA.
Just some feedback thanks
