TOPIC: ThrustmasterTMX forcefeedback wheel return feature

ThrustmasterTMX forcefeedback wheel return feature 19 Nov 2018 19:55 #110946

Hello there is a stearing wheel returnability a feature within city driving? I am trying to teach my wife to drive and one of the major aspects of driving is after a turn the stearing wheel automatically returns to center. But in city driving after a turn you have to manually recenter the wheel. I think this is a real big take away from learning to drive and I can't seem to find a way to locate the feature.

Is there a DLC or MOD that can be introduced to add that? There should be some resisance in the turn and then the wheel should return to center when the driver let's go.

Not a complaint I just want to see if the feature exists and how to turn it on and if it doesn't will it be added in the future?

Have you enabled or disabled force feedback?

I find that if you disable forcefeedback, at least on the Logitech G27, the wheel will automatically return. However, with forcefeedback turned on, it wont return.

Thank you with your tip I was able to find the setting in the menu. When you go into advance settings there is a drop down for which menu and one of them is called feedback. I found that my feedback was turned off. when I turned it on the wheel started autocorrecting and adding some tension during a turn. It has added so much realism to the driving experience.
