I get that, but for example SCS (developers of ETS2) show pictures of the update or DLC they are working on, maybe you guys can do that too and ask us on the forum for advice or for our opnion.
I'm not sure why we stopped posting some intermediate materials, but I will discuss it with the director.

also my "frustration" is because the active users on the forum have all over 250 hours in this game and much more before it came on steam, we all made multiply posts on the Feedback / Notes & Suggestions topic but not really much of them got made, and I don't really see much difference in the game compared to version 1.4. but thats my opnion and how I think about it.
Do you have any more examples of frequently requested features, which were not added yet (besides new locations, and of course - multiplayer)? I admit, that some things we do with a delay, but usually applied changes correspond to the feedback we've received.

Well I think we have both diffrent idea's of what I thought on the poll idea, but then we make a agreement now, that I'll make multiply polls with idea's for the simulator to improve, i'll provide you with all the idea's that did win in the poll's, and will provide you also with the details of the idea's so that you guys hopefully can work them out. and Multiplayer is not 1 of them, you have never seen me request it because its a boring and not realistic idea to make.

My idea for now:
lets make a deal, I'll start working out the polls and idea's for what we think as community that is the most needed for the game, i'll make polls for big update's and small updates. with the help of TJ, David and Jericho I want to keep those polls clean and only have reaction's from people with good reasons for a update, and the details of it. we will remove all suggestions for multiplayer, and finally make a poll of the top 5, and we will keep it updated.
Maybe it will be a good idea to let everyone post in a special thread his own TOP-5 the most expected features (except Multiplayer of course) sorted by his personal importance rating. So we can try finding some points of contact between different people who has very different vision of the simulator's future. I think this type of survey would be more objective than just a classic poll with selecting only one winner.

and yes, I know there is also a community page on steam, but I think this is also a way to attract new people to the forum, and so we keep everything on 1 place to keep it clear for you guys (Forward Development) to see what we as community think.
I disagree here. I think survey for Steam community should be independent. Because for now I feel that Steam community and our classical community on this forum are very different people, and you and they want different things. I'm not sure 100% about that, but for now I feel so.

As I can see Steam community is self-sufficient and don't really like to leave Steam to do anything outside. And their point of view on the product is different quite often.

As I said earlier, we've received a lot of positive reviews on Steam just after 1.5.7 update. This has never happened before with any other update there. And this totally dissonants with what we see here, on our forum.

Therefore, I think the survey on Steam is also a good idea, it should be with same method, but it should be independent.

Well, I've played City Car Driving since 1.4 propably and I can see progress. But it's very slow and the game still looks like in beta version or Early Access but it's fully released. Users this type of games expects not cool graphics, but realistic gameplay, optimialisation and modders support. By all means I think progress is definitely too slow and every update adds less important things. Focus on ESSENTIALS! Realistic gameplay? If I can be honest, it sucks. I wish we had one time hybrid of f.e. City Car Driving and Assetto Corsa or rFactor. Feeling of how car moves or behaves doesn't give enough feedback and usually it behaves unpredictable. And the clutch - ooohhh, at least add the option to set deadzones on both sides (to set suitable range). Optimialisation isn't the worst, but if you look on graphics level gives feeling of unfinished project. And modders support - for me the most important thing, because modders comes from community. If you impedes their work, they will leave (how it happens now). I know you're a small indie studio, but look on f.e. BeamNG and their game - they're also indie and look how far they've gone with their project. If you need help, ask community. I can ensure, that they will help you :D

@Kivlov Ok. To be more specific about the physics it the vehicles handle differently and wheel spin a lot more especially when accelerating hard for the collision files I think I found out it seems to happen with some mods and not your stock cars so I don't think its not your fault with the stock cars at all I think its something mod makers might have to adapt for the latest version.

If the physics and sound can't be reverted to how it was before then I will try to use the changed physics and sounds as I would have to get used to it if it can be fixed that would be good if not then I will get used to the changes.
Physics changes serve the idea to better fit the math model now. However, I think you still can tune the physics in mods in a way you got used to.

BTW, I remember long time ago there was some third-party utility made by one of our mod makers - it was used to adjust the physics for CCD mods easily. I think this utility, if you could find it, still will be valid for the latest version of CCD for adjusting mod physics. And it really can make this process much easier. I've tried searching for it, and it seems this one - citycardriving.com/forum?catid=26&id=98730&view=topic

Thanks if you can fix the sound from at least stopping and starting and very loud from traffic cars with Lada and other sounds that would be good by making it lower or not having the sounds at all.
So, let's sum up, what actual issues (not related to mods adaptation) appeared in 1.5.7 according to your notes:

- The sound has bugs as well when you change the camera position it for about half a second or less the sound starts and shops working when you change the camera

- The sound from at least stopping and starting and very loud from traffic cars with Lada and other sounds that would be good by making it lower or not having the sounds at all.

Haven't I missed anything?

I think thats everything other than those things I can try and adjust and get used to the new update.

That is true it can be updated, Slightly frustrating for me but I will try to adjust with it and get used to it and just update them, As you said the game does have to move on sooner or later.

Did the collision (HKX or HKT) files for the stock cars get updated for 1.5.7?

These files are located in export/meshes/cars/Car_Name/

It would help because if thats the case as third party mod makers we can update them and fix the issues for some mods for 1.5.7 for the mods that have this problem as I mentioned before.

Well, Dynamic wheater, improved Ai (Ai moving to the right lane when there is no car on the right, driving 90 in a 90 zone instead of 40), improved force feedback for steeringwheels, these are a couple of frequently requested features that I know, but after I posted this reply i'll work out the the top 5 topic.

yeah you right top 5 for each person is better then 1 winner. i'll work it out in some minutes.

Good point, I agree with that after reading some reactions on the update and reading through some pages of reviews.
Do you want me to also make a independent poll on steam or do you want to do this?

I scrolled past some of these comments since they are rather frustrating really. I just want to show my appreciation for the work (especially for such a small team).

I had 3 main wishes for this game. And taxi mode, one of my requests, has already been implemented. So I'm happy.
My other requests would be that AI traffic would position themselves for overtaking and prefiltering, instead of random positions. Especially on the highway it's really annoying that traffic doesn't keep right. ETS2 does this rather well (apart from the lack of variable speed, which works great after a small traffic mod).
And my other request is to be able to drive emergency vehicles, or at least have ambient emergency responses with reactive AI.
One tiny request: to have a volume shortcut for the in-game radio.

But the taxi mode is a big step in the right direction. Also since, funny enough, I literally just got my taxi-license IRL.

Anyways, thanks for the effort and keep it up.
