You need to install the Logitech Gaming Software 5.10, not the latest one, as it doesnt support the G27. Perhaps the issue is related to your wheel software and not the game itself.

What seems to be happening is the mappings are not working...Red Button Left 3 is the same for all three of the Left wheel buttons...top or bottom or middle button are all identified as Red Button Left 3. So with the over-revs, the game is unplayable and my kid has a driver test in three days.
