Hi, I just bought a Quest and I haven't converted my CCD license to Steam yet. Will my Quest work with CCD if I convert my license to Steam? Step #3 in post above says "not the one on Steam"?
VR will work with the Steam version. Just run the game from the desktop, or else Steam will try to launch it with SteamVR, which wont work properly.

Thanks! I will go ahead and convert my license to Steam.

Hi, I tried as advised opening the game from the desktop. However by opening CCD shortcut from desktop, steam logon is prompted(because i bought the steam version). Changing output to VR still generates the same error message.

Have I misunderstood "Just run the game from the desktop" ?

Run the game from the desktop, then in the graphics settings of the game, change output to VR.
Then close the game, and open it again for the changes to be made.

Since CDD doesn't run natively on the Quest, is this thread referring to running it on Oculus Link, VirtualDesktopVR, ALVR or something else?

I run PCVR in the cloud. I'm thinking of letting my wife use CDD to learn the rules of the road. However, we drive on the left here and I don't have a Bluetooth controller yet for the Quest. However, I guess I could also connect to the PCVR PC via Parsec on my Mac and connect devices up to that. Initially using a mouse and keyboard and later plugging in a wheel and stick shift.
Last Edit: 09 Apr 2020 11:35 by jago25_98. Reason: add a PCVR question

You can drive on the left with the Australian Road Rules.

I'm not very familiar with Quest and CCD, so I cant really answer the other questions.
