TOPIC: Framerate drop when violating rules (REPOST)

Framerate drop when violating rules (REPOST) 26 Mar 2020 22:58 #114032

Hi , i have City Car Driving 1.5.9 installed in my pc but whenever i violate any driving rules the frame rate drops to 20/30 fps...
Deleted all my mods , reinstalled the game.
Removed Forward development folder from documents nothing changed.
Tried also to disable windows defender the same thing
PS. I have already read other topics for the same issue but cant find the solution yet. Has anyone tried it ?

Hello. Quite often perfomance problems may be result of the game configuration files overflow and sometimes – third-party mods also may ruin the performance too.

Therefore, first of all try these steps:

1. Unsubscribe from all mods.

2. Uninstall the game in Steam.

3. Manually delete the folder, where the game has been installed (it will remain after uninstallation) – …\Steam\SteamApps\common\City Car Driving

4. Turn off the Steam cloud profile synchronization for City Car Driving – open your Steam client, click on City Car Driving with right mouse button and choose “Properties” from the context menu. Then open the tab “Updates” and there turn off the option “Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for City Car Driving”.

5. Delete the folder "Forward Development" from your "My Documents" folder.

6. Install the game again.

7. After all above turn off Vertical Sync in both places - the game settings and your video card settings.

P.S.: Also updating your video card driver will be a good idea.

Thanks for the reply i already followed all the instructions but the same thing happens. It's not a performance problem since when i don't violate the rules frame rate doesn't drops

EDIT : I solved the problem . A friend sent me his Forward Development folder then i replaced it
