TOPIC: Using DIY wheel and pedals, arduino

Using DIY wheel and pedals, arduino 12 Jan 2021 16:06 #115116

Does anyone use arduino (or other controller) based wheel, pedals etc with City Car Driving?

Is it supported?

I'm considering building a sim set up using potentiometers and switches, an arduino, and firmware to either simulate an xbox 360, or maybe use 'unojoy', or some other arduino library etc. I made a flight sim that way, it worked well.

Thanks, that's encouraging.
EMC Lite, isthat by these guys? www.facebook.com/EMCDeveloper/
Do you need a plugin for this to work with CCD?
I take it that Thrustmaster T3PA Pedals are not natively supported in CCD?

Yes, it is.

You don't need any plugin to work with CCD.

T3PA has a RJ12 plug which it can be connected only to thrustmaster wheels. I have logitech DFGT and i must connect it direct into pc via usb and here i made a adapter from RJ12 to usb on Arduino.

Thrustmaster T3PA pedals is natively supported when we have a Thrustmaster steering wheel.

That makes sense. I'll look into EMC stuff if the unojoy/x360ce approach doesnt work for some reason.
