I played the game for about an hour and my Logitech G29 shifter just stopped working after I got in a wreck. I've tried multiple different cars, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling cars, reinstalling the game, and I've tried using the vanilla cars and nothing works. After a few restarts of the game it might work for about 5 seconds and then just stops. I know the game is detecting the inputs because if I go in settings and reassign the gears it detects it just fine. It's only when I try driving that it doesn't work. Whenever I start the game it shows it in first gear, and when I try to put it in reverse, it just moves the little dot into neutral and stops working. If I launch another game like Forza Horizon 4 it works just fine. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,

You could try deleting the Forward Development folder from Documents. This will wipe your profile progress, but it should give you a new profile to assign your wheel from scratch.

You could also try changing the checkbox 'Shifting to neutral when switching off gear in the gearbox (shifter)'.

It can be found in controls > advanced settings > vehicle control (In the dropdown box). Then scroll to the bottom of the page.
