Hi, I am having trouble setting up the force feedback (FFB) for this game. Some of the problems I have faced:
1. FFB only turns on for ignition and turning the first 10 or so corners. Then it stops automatically and I have to restart the entire driving session and persists. Hence, I have to always restart my driving session everytime to get the FFB back.
2. FFB does not come on when the engine is about to stall.
3. Wheels either feel too heavy or missing its FFB going through CCD's FFB settings. The slider within the advanced settings feels like an on-off switch rather than an actual slider.
4. Minimising and opening the game again basically just turns off the FFB instantly and not only that I have to restart the game but I have to unplug my Thrustmaster T300RS with the T3PA pedals as well as the TH8A shifter.
I have already tried everything that I can find regarding setting up my Thrustmaster T300RS Racing Wheel + T3PA pedals and the TH8A add on shifter.
Some of the things I've tried:
1. Played around with settings in both CCD and the Thrustmaster Control Panel. CCD's FFB control slider feels like an on-off switch. The settings implemented in the Thrustmaster control panel only has minute difference in increasing or decreasing the FFB intensity within the game.
2. Have set up the steering wheel profile as either on 'default' or 'Sven Drift', both produce the exactly the same poor FFB response.
3. Updated the CCD and the Drivers for the Thrustmaster equipment.
4. Made sure to always let the wheel self-calibrate first before begin opening the game.
5. Not install any mods within the game.
Does anyone experience the same problem with their steering wheels? I've heard that there is a ongoing issue with Thrustmaster and Logitech wheels. I have tried contacting CCD's support through email and have posted in the steam forums to no response. If anyone has the same problem as I am or if this is already solved somewhere deep within the discussion, a link to it would help. I truly appreciate this game and its concept, it is just a shame that the experience is hindered by a lacklustre FFB issues.
Thank you.
