Hi,

I'm posting this topic as i only found some old questions here.

I'm struggling for a year to get good VR experience with this game (and only this game, as i play project cars 2 and other stuff with no problem).

Firstable, the keyconfig is so hard to do, and loses when you connect to steam: solved. no more synchro with steam...

Regarding the VR, i got a pc vr ready, some I7 and graphics ok (as i already play well with PC2).

I got a HTC VIVE.

When i play with vr on city car driving, the cockipt is so bright and when the car moves, there goes the sickness - it s like if everything was jittering, moving/teleporting micro moves as i move the vr headset.

This is very very disturbing, i was never able to use the game in this mode.

I solved for now, as i play while i m in a virtual theatre : you put on the headset and you are in a big blue room with a screen. you can play CCD, loosing some experience, but no sickness.

I would like to use this game with a VR headset and drive from into the car.
Is it too much to ask ?

Thanks if anyone can solve this huge problem.

I'm using Oculus Quest 2.

I'm experiencing motion sickness too. Turns out I'm not the only one (I applied the "solution" given there; it didn't solve the problem for me, but maybe it makes it better. I don't know if it's entirely CCD's fault: I get some sickness in other games too).

As for jittering: I'm experiencing it too, but only when turning around in busy scenes. I've found a solution: "Just disable the minimap inside the car and the stutter is gone....".

If you find any other VR tips to share, please do, as it seems we're on our own.

Hello,

Please note that the game officially supports only Oculus Rift and HTC Vive VR headsets. Vive Pro and Rift S also should work.

But regarding the Index, Quest, Cosmos or any WMR-compatible devices - for now we do not have these headsets by our hands, and do not have plans to supported them in near future. Sorry.

Hello,

Please note that i have a HTC Vive and CCD for more than 1 year, and i was never able to solve this problem of jittering/glittering.

But my headset works very fine with every other software...

Official support then ? I have to use the software playing as i m at the cinema and watching a big screen, not from inside as a real vr experience.

It was my reply to niccolomedici.

If you feel you still need to make lower motion sickness effects you can try disabling some of the camera inertion effects as described here - steamcommunity.com/app/493490/discussions/0/3277925755433585773/
