Hi,
I recently tried out an Oculus Rift at a friends place. It provides an amazing sense of "being there" and works especially well in games/demos with a cockpit ( i tried for example Rift Racer). My first thought on trying it was that CCD
really should support this.
Since CCD already has full support for viewing independently of driving direction (as with Trackir) i would think it would be pretty trivial to support the oculus rift, all that is needed is to implement the dual viewpoints required for proper 3d and using their SDK to apply the correct distortion (as a developer i realize that there is probably a bit more work to do to a allow configuration etc, but it still seems fairly easy to do). You can probably even do it without having a rift yourself (a few people managed to do some nice demos without access to a rift).
I realize that there exist Trackir emulators for the Rift as well as drivers that attempt to fake the 3d effect, but experience is leaps and bounds better with proper support.
For a fairly niché game like CCD i also think it would make a lot financial sense. Even though the Rift is only available as an Devkit so far, the kickstarter backers alone number ~10k, and they are all desperate for games to try out on the rift (most of them are in fact not developers at all

Of course, the sooner the better as games/demos to try are popping up at an impressive rate.
Finally, implementing the dual-viewpoints should also make it easy to support other types of 3d natively, which i guess would allow support of the 3d monitors out there etc.
And no, i don't work for Oculus, i was just really impressed by the Rift
