when i downloaded the game after purchase when the download got to 99% my kaspersky security flagged a trojan horse within the starter exe download. so when i tried to run the exe file it said error. im downloading again right now but im baffled why there was a trojan horse in the download????

There is no any trojans or viruses in the game. This is Kaspersky's misoperation. We've heard already about this problem and noticed the Kaspersky Lab about it. They will fix it in next Kaspersky update.

Until it you should turn off your antivirus during the game installation, and enable it only after adding starter.exe to the Kaspersky ignore list.

ok i added the file to the ignore list and it seems kaspersky is backing of so i can use the game, thanks

I too have this problem.
I accept totaly your assurance that starter.exe is free from any infection, but I can't convince McAffee that this is the case. McAffee maintains that it is infected with Artemis!8AC2D677ECFA and deleates the file. I have pointed out to McAffee that several other anti-virus programms accept this, but their response is that it shows how much better McAffee anti-virus is.

I would have thought that a software house that can produce such a programme as this, could make a launcher that does not even look as if it has a virus.

its still deleted my game so i did put them on " its ok kaspersky " list... then it worked...
