I was having the same problem as others (that the game would crash on a black screen, a.k.a logo.avi) and saw that the patch fixes that. aside from kaspersky thinking its a trojan, I redownloaded it with kapsersky off but the patch doesnt do anything. When i ran it, it said it couldn't find the device, path, or file (intalled CCD in default spot) but if i tried some of the old patch files i downloaded earlier with kapsersky on, nothing shows up. no comfirmation sign, no progress bar, no error, nothing. I have downloaded the patch numerous times, both from the site and from the alt. mirror. Any way to fix this? or how about sending me the actual files in a zip or something, i am more than capable of manually installing it.
also, I am running on Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.
