No, of course not.

What is the name of the engine that City Car Driving runs on? Is it really just "City Car Driving Engine", or is it perhaps "Mangalore" (as files with this name can be found in the game and I do not see what else "Mangalore" could possibly refer to) or maybe something else?

Hi,

Older versions of the game had this at the bottom right of the screen on the home menu. I believe it is the game engine (Havok)

Havok is just the physics engine that's used by countless games (yes I know CCD is not a traditional game but an educational simulator). For example, Half-Life 2 runs on the Source engine but uses Havok for physics. I want to know what's the name of City Car Driving's game engine.

Graphical engine is deeply modified Nebula2.

Thank you! Does the original 3D Instructor from 2007 also use Nebula2? I downloaded the demo from the Wayback Machine and found files with the .n2 extension, just like in City Car Driving.

Hi, I'm interested in purchasing the commercial version of CCD for research. Does anyone know if there is an in-game method for extracting all the data from a particular journey (ideally at a frequency like 30 Hz), or if there is a third-party plugin that does the same thing? Thanks!
P.S hope I posted this in the right place

Hello,

There's a built-in option for records and replays of your driving sessions. But, you cannot export them - they can be watched only inside the game, because these records are not videos and made by the game's engine.

If you need the videos you can capture them by third-party software - such as Bandicam or GeForce Experience (Shadow Play).

For purchasing the Enterprise Edition feel free to contact us as described here - citycardriving.com/products/commercial
