TOPIC: Car engine sound

Car engine sound 05 Dec 2013 07:51 #19341

Can someone advise me on how to increase engine sound, perhaps from modding? It is super quiet 1.3.2.

Edit: So I tried another car, the one used in the beginner mission, and it was way too loud...

Thanks!

Yeah one sound has been turned down way to much and the other just a little, if at all.. because it still starts clipping.
I loved the game in 1.2.5 bust since 1.3.0 I've hardly played the game since custom sounds don't exists and the default ones are now too quiet or too loud and sound horrible. turning the game up just makes the engine audible but then every other sound is too loud.
It just wastes the idea of the simulator :(

I hope this will be fixed, and I think it will. Forward Development will never fail to listen to customers, I hope ;) .

Same, I've only just started playing, but I can see there is a good community here, developers replying to comments, watching the forums, quick email replies etc.

What's about an option in the audio settings to increase/decrease the engine sound volume? So everyone gets his satisfaction :b

Yes, But you've decreased one sound so far it can't be heard over any other sound, even when the sounds are at 100% in settings :(

I think they wanted it just a little lower than where it was. The engine sound has been decreased dramatically instead of being decreased by small increments. I 100% agree with the post saying there should be an option in the menu for engine sound. That would solve your headache and please your audience. I really wish I knew programming language so I could offer to help code for free, but I'm a n00b.

Even if you knew they would not let you. Its a closed source game and letting random people write for a closed source game makes it open source effectively.
