Since the v1.3 was released, AI behavior on the motorway is erratic to put it mildly. Before you had random braking at the bottle-neck points along the road. Now people just brake everywhere on the motorway, which ruins the experience of driving along it. I feel it's very detrimental to the entire experience, and I wish this to be corrected in future updates.

Is this a known bug?

This is very common, which is why I take the city roads and not the Motorway, even if the Motorway route is shorter. I hope this will be fixed in 1.3.3. I hope that the traffic will be more consistent, but not too perfect  .

Sure, I get that it could happen once in a while, but driving at night, with one car in front of me, and it slows down to 40 for no reason. That's not realism, it's just silly.

Why don't you just decrease the traffic agression in options?

I already have it pretty high. Any higher, and all people go 90 km/h in the residential areas. It's just become so erratic that it's not really fun driving along the motorway anymore.
