Thank you all for your help!! We are looking for the computer to be portable so I am looking for a laptop. Do you think this would be compatible?

That computer is OK, but you can do sooo much better with a AMD A series.

Thank you all again for the info. My son is 12 so the graphics do not need to be optimal. I just want to be sure whatever computer I buy will run this game. He is obsessed with it and it is the only thing he wants for Xmas!! :cheer:

That laptop would be just fine for City Car Driving.

I would mention that the Graphics card isn't exactly the best for gaming at any level..
It has an integrated Intel® HD Graphics 4000 which will play a fair few games but at very low, minimal quality settings, you may get 30fps.. which is enough to play games :)

CCD is in no way optimized for graphics cards let alone integrated graphics on laptops.. BUT it may run the game just fine :)
Mine works fine, but that's just me. It will work, but you may need to turn down the graphic settings a little bit. I can show you mine (my computer is similar to the one that you are looking at)
(down to low) no analizing...

Laptops generally cost alot more and do not have enough power to handle things that a desktop could handle. But, their are some pretty good ones out their. If you change your mind and want a desktop here is the best choice i found yet, however it got out of price range:

The computer i posted above is very good for gaming, and similar to mine. I'll find more computers that costs less.
If you know how to build a computer, this would be a good choice:
case $50
Intel Pentium g2120 dual core 3.1 GHZ $99
8 gigs $50
ATI Radeon HD 4850 $50
500 HDD $50
Corsair cx430 $50
H77 motherboard $50
copy of windows 7 ($20) <- also reusable from old computers.
CD drive ($20) <-- Also reusable from old computers.

She clearly stated that he didn't need a desktop, and that it doesn't need a good graphic card. My settings are actually on medium to high and the highest screen reselution.

And is that why you lag like crazy when recording?
I said "If you WANT a desktop"
I was just giving my opinion, that a desktop is better then a laptop and cheaper.

Most lags when recording is caused by a bottleneck to the storage device. It can't keep up with the high demand of a screen recorder writing massive files whilst a game is reading, plus background processes and Windows own processes trying to use it all at once..

If you have only 1 HDD and you're using FRAPS which does very little encoding it is writing a MASSIVE amount of data to the hard drive.
Also if its a laptop you'll most likely have a 2.5" 5400rpm drive which will obviously have less read/write performance than a 7200rpm 3.5" Desktop drive.

To solve the lags and achieve a better recording fps..
Desktop: Add another HDD or SSD and record with FRAPS to that drive and have nothing else using it then fraps has 100% access.

Laptop: Try a USB 3.0 External HDD, even if you have USB 2.0.. USB 3.0 drives will be able to get better speeds even on USB2.0.. That way you're giving fraps 100% usage of that drive :)
USB2.0 can easily use 400Mbit/s which is enough. USB3.0 can theoretically achieve 5 Gbit/s which is just wayyy more than enough for fraps :D
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 4.01GHz
Corsair H100, SP100 Fans @ 22°C Idle, 52°C Load
8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1333MHz
Asus R9 280X DirectCU II @ 1070MHz
OCZ Vertex 4 120GB SSD | Seagate Barracuda 1TB
