So I have been using city car driving for 2 weeks, at beginning everything was normal, I did set my g27 nicely. Everything worked well.

Suddenly today I try to play the game and the wheel does not work anymore, none of the buttons, steering, clutch, brake were working... I went into settings I saw the keyboard was set as new controller. I changed back to g27. Where all the settings were correct. I tried to play the game and it still did not work... So I had to manually change everything and set it to exactly the same button that was already set (like it was sleeping or something). So basically almost everything worked, except Clutch! Which is now for some reason reversed. That has never been the issue. But when I press the clutch it goes opposite way like I just released it... I tried to thousand times set that button correctly but I only got "J:+slider" or "J:slider" in game settings, I could never get "J:-slider" which would probably make it work normal...
Can you tell me how to set the clutch correctly???

What could be the sudden problem with this game?
-Is it because I have to turn off usb cable everytime I am playing some other game like FIFA (coz it looks like wheel and xbox PC controller are incompatible)
- Does it have something to do with Assetto Corsa. that was the first game where I saw reversed clutch, brakes, etc... the settings gave me all kinds of problems there, they got reset for no reason, could that game change some other settings?
-does that happen

I have one more question about g27
is it normal that in properties when I press any of the buttons either on steering wheel or gearbox the steering wheel will start moving uncontrollably. I am not sure whether that happend in the past, or it started now.

Hello,

Delete the folder "Forward Development" from your "My Documents" folder. And then re-assign all your controls to the wheel.

You mean in the profiler? I think it's normal. It does the same thing in mine.

It didn't happen at first in my case, but it just started happening randomly. I'm fine with it as long as there's nothing wrong.

Ok I did what you suggested. My clutch is still reversed. And when I try to set the clutch (by pressing it) it will either show it as "J:slider" or "J:+slider". I can press 100 times and it will be always one of those two. But never J:-slider , which I still think would fix the problem. Now I can drive the car, but gears can be changed either if I press the clutch or I don't. There is no difference. (I do have turned off automatic clutch) I doubt that is how this game is supposed to work??

I found a video on youtube of some guy playing this game:

if you look at beginning of the video around 0.16 you can see that his clutch box is "full" and his brake & throttle are empty until pressed... I saw some other videos where all of them are empty from beginning... This is what I am talking about. I don't know how much of a problem it is. Maybe thats the reason why I can change the gears without even pressing the clutch. But I would like to fix that, if of course is it problem at all. Or is the game made that way?

The clutch box becomes empty when you step. That's the normal thing in the game. Despite this, the cars drive as if it were real cars. Just Disregard the clutch box :) . And make sure automatic clutch is disabled.
