Hello,

Have you tried-
1. Delete the game entirely, go to computer/programfiles86 and delete Forward Development
2. Re-install the game
3. Run as administrator

You'll have to wait for a developer to answer. There's one in this forum. His name is Kivlov. Let's just wait for him to notice this thread and reply :) .

Hello,

First of all you should pay your attention our system requirements – citycardriving.com/products/citycardriving#SysReq and note that correct program operation on laptops or on personal computers with integrated video cards is not guaranteed!

To resolve the problem with the activation try following these steps:

1. Make sure you’re running the game as administrator (right click on its' shortcut and choose "Run as administrator" in the context menu).
2. Make sure you've put your activation key correctly into the activation key field.
3. Turn of the UAC - windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/turn-user-account-control-on-or-off
4. Temporary turn off any antivirus or firewall software.

After that run the game as administrator (right click on its' shortcut and choose "Run as administrator" in the context menu) and enter your activation key again.

If steps above don't not help, please try this:

Our game activation key interface form is based on the Internet Explorer engine. If such problems with the activation appear – they may be connected with the problems with the Internet Explorer or antivirus/firewall software. If you’ve already disabled your antivirus/firewall software, let’s continue our tries with the Internet Explorer itself:

5. Disable/Remove all excess plugins, which usually accumulated by the Internet Explorer during the web surfing. Some of these plugins and Active X components may prevent some Internet Explorer functions from correct working. And if such happens it may also make our activation window malfunction. Here’s a detailed illustrated instruction how to disable/remove Plugins and ActiveX components in the Internet Explorer – www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-remove-unwanted-addons-from-internet-explor.html - try to disable all of them.

6. Reset all your Internet Explorer configuration settings to the default values. This may be done with accordance of this instruction – support.microsoft.com/kb/923737/en

7. Try updating your Internet Explorer to the latest version from the Microsoft web site – windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/download-ie

8. Install all available updates for your PC (Windows operation system) and other Microsoft products. You can do it using the “Microsoft Update” (or “Windows Update”) shortcut in your Windows “Control panel”. Details about updating your Windows operation system are on the Microsoft web site – windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/help/windows-update
