A couple days ago, my security suite expired. I of course renewed it, but when I did, it deleted a bunch of programs including City car driving, Euro truck simulator two, and Microsoft flight without asking me first!!!! It deleted them because Norton claimed that they were malicious software. Microsoft flight is from Microsoft. Windows is from Microsoft!!!!!!! Will I be able to download City Car Driving again, or will i have to buy another copy?

As long as you still have your activation info, you can download it then enter in the old info. Also, don't use Norton. How did it delete ETS 2 I'd its a steam game?

I bought the game through amazon. Anyway it's a relief that I don't need to buy it again. Though i'll probably lose all my progress. I hate Norton, but all the other security suites don't do crap. I've gotten viruses through the other ones. The only way Norton blocks these things is because it deletes everything that's suspicious. I wasn't able to get the City Car Driving update because Norton didn't have a report on it. So it just kept deleting it every time it would finish downloading.

It didn't when i downloaded them. It usually pops up with a message saying _____.exe is safe. Or it says _____.exe is not safe and has been removed. It said that City Car Driving and Ets 2 were perfectly safe. Then when I renewed it, it gave me the "citycardriving.exe is not safe and has been removed. Sometimes I just don't get Norton. Has it deleted anything of yours without asking?

I have Trend a micro and it's brilliant. It deletes things but it puts them into temporary storage if you will then notifies me that it has been moved there and provides you with the option to delete it or restore back to original location. It's really good.

AVG is really, really good. If it notices a virus in an .EXE or any kind of file, it'll put it into quarantine and ask you what you want to do with it. It has never interfered with CCD in any way, apart from when I first downloaded it, and it asked me if I wanted to trust the download or not. After I said yes, it has always allowed downloads from the CCD website :)
