Yeah, but that might be less in Russian currency. Plus, they need to pay for whatever it costs to develop the game, pay their employees, even the bills for the office. And some may go to toher projects. I doubt they have just gone off and bought a Ferrari, as if they continue development and get more sales they can buy several Ferraris!

To Kivlov: I mentioned that slow updates is OK of you a valid reason, and it seems you do :). Previous criticism revoked!

100 000 for all the time. Since the very first version has been released in early 2006. It was only in Russian language at first. avtoportal-nn.ru/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/c5409f32e66a.jpg

Thank you very much for willing to help us. We're very appreciated. However we don't accept donations. It will be very strange if we do because our software is not free. And as I've already said - we've found our own way to survive on the market. It makes the development slow a bit, but it's an optimal way for us now.

Hi Kivlov

With no meaning to offend, but not fussed if I do, you and your team are sitting on a very enviable position of having developed one of the few available driving simulators with both Rh and Lh drive vehicles and an eagre and compassionate following of users wanting it desperately to improve.

Develop or die.

Look at your consumer base today, do the maths, then employ some bloody good programmers to lift the graphics and sort these tedious well reported bugs out, specify that milestones like more comprehensive maps, smoother graphics and oculus rift support will be achieved and charge for major roll outs for people who WANT to buy them and minor upgrades for original users that dont.
My driving simulator has cost $2,000 to build to date (commercial ones in Australia cost $23,000 including licenced software) and the cheapest part so far for me has been your download at $19. Believe me there is a huge client base out there for your driving programme worldwide, just invest in it yourself and get it sorted and get it better, or see someone else do it and leave you behind.

And who do you think is supplying software for those $20K simulators? There are apparently companies willing to pay lots of money for this software, the money we paid means little to nothing to these devs. Kivlov stated himself, thats how they have made their company stay afloat.

Home Version of City Car Driving is just sort of an afterthought for the company economically. Thats why there is no rush to add content or update graphics. I think that they dont care about competition for Home Edition.

Did I understand you correctly that you're using Home Edition of our simulator for commercial purposes?

I believe he is talking about his home simulator setup. The point of his post is that there are people out there with home simulation hardware that can rival or exceed commercial equipment, but the software is lacking. He is basically saying "We dont want to pay 23,000 for a commercial driving simulator, when we already have simulation hardware. Give us software that equals commercial version."

Thank you Narcoticrex, that's exactly what I said!

"Give us a commercial styled programme for home use" and let thousands upon thousands of people buy it world wide for themselves and their teenagers to learn to drive on and reap the commercial rewards that it brings.

I am actually quiet offended that the only part of my post that you seem to have taken any notice of at all was that I might be using a low graphics, glitchy, bug ridden driving programme for commercial gain!!

Oh my God, shoot me now. I don't think I could charge someone to drive this game at the moment, the way it performs in some areas.

Tell me honestly, is the commercial version actually any better than the home edition, or is it just much the same, but gives me permission to make a couple of dollars out of it? Ill buy if its noticeably better. Can anyone out there tell me please?

Now please stop fretting over the possible loss of one Royalty check from half way round the bloody world and look at the numbers of people reading these complaints saying your updates and speed of bug fixes suck big time.

There is approximately 455 people following this thread saying

"Please make this programme better and do it now!"

Listen to them or watch them leave.

I don't think I'd ever leave the community. I just want better graphics. You should extend your marketing. I am willing to pay your company as much as they need to do something great with this game. Not my family's money, but money that I have earned from babysitting shoveling snow etc.
