 I love City Car Driving, but I’m starting to hate all these penalty points I keep getting for “not yielding to pedestrians”. The thing is, I do yield. Just this afternoon I was coming up on a cross-walk. A female pedestrian was standing there appearing to be unsure if she wanted to cross or not. I stopped and waited. Nothing happened. So I proceeded through the cross-walk. Sure enough I was penalized for not yielding. Are you kidding me? This is very frustrating and those 1,000 points are piling up like mad. And please don’t tell me I failed to yield. I’ve been driving for over 20 years and I certainly know how to yield to a pedestrian.

Sorry for the rant. I just hate all those penalty points:angry:

Yeah,
here in North Carolina we don't have to yield to pedestrians. Are you doing training? If not, you can turn off the message that says you're doing something wrong.

Thanks, simulationdude: The trouble is if I turn off the message and check out my profile after the drive, I still have the penalty points anyway. Oh well..Maybe I'll just stop looking;)

So, you're from NC? My family originally comes from the triangle area. Kinda wish I was there now. It's snowing like crazy up here. Thanks, again.

Hi,
The penalty points don't really do anything to you :) . It is a bit disturbing though, seeing a lot of them  .

Thanks, Jericho: I guess it's just how you look at things. I'm the kind of person that if I see a lot of penalty points in my profile then I think I'm a bad driver. So, it's almost like a contest with me. I start the game convinced in the back of my mind that I won't get any penalties. Then, when I start getting them, I get upset. Crazy, I know.

As a professional driving instructor, I feel your pain. Another thing that bothers me is these crazy Russian intersections; people with no stop sign come to a dead halt and wait...and then if you go, you are penalized with violating the right of way. Something screwy in the programming for sure.

Yeah, the AI isn't perfect, to say the least. Just try and ignore it and just follow the rules you know are correct wherever you live, that's what I do.

Yeah, the only thing good about the AI is that the females look kinda good. But when you toot the horn at them, they don't respond (LOL,LOL,LOL,LOL). They just keep walking. Kinda like the girls where I live. (LOL).

Sorry but I've got to have my fun where ever I can find it.
