I am now using the Logitech Driving force GT wheel,I have all functions assigned that I need however
I cannot get the reverse to work. I am using the car with automatic transmission and have auto clutch selected.
Any help would be appreciated!

I have Logitech G25 wheel and I found out, that settings for automatic transmission in this game is pretty much hardly confused. Yesterday after spending about 2 hours of trying different combination I found out one, which I can use with my gear lever.

1) G25 gear lever can be set into two modes = manual (6+1 gear) and automatic (forward/backward + reverse). That mode for automatic transmission is probably unusable for this game - even for driving car with automatic transmission I must have gear lever in manual mode.

2) In game setting names are probably mixed up for automatic tranmission. This is configuration, which finally worked for me:

ingame setting = button number (real position on G25 gear lever in manual mode)
1. gear = button 12 (4. gear)
2. gear = button 10 (2. gear)
3. gear = button 15 (reverse)
4. gear = button 14 (6. gear)
5. gear = nothing
6. gear = button 13 (5. gear)
Neutral gear = button 9 (1. gear)
Reverse = button 11 (3. gear)

This way I have:
R = 1. gear position on G25 gear lever in manual mode
D = 2. gear -//-
P = 3. gear -//-
N = 4. gear -//-
1 = 5. gear -//-
2 = 6. gear -//-
3 = reverse -//-

And with this setting I can finally drive cars with automatic transmissio in CCD 1.2.2.

May be some game developer should look into this

I set up the paddles on the steering wheel for "Shift Up" and "Shift Down" functions. They can be used for automatic transmission gear selection. I have Logitech G27 wheel. I wish that Logitech offers an automatic transmission gear lever unit and parking brake lever unit for G25 and G27 wheels.

If you use a fully automatic transmission - option "auto-cluth" is no matter for you. And in this case you should notice, that you can change gear modes only while pressing the brake pedal. Reverse can be turned on only when the car is fully stopped and brake is pressed.

I'm updating the topic here. I have the Driving Force GT too, and I cant put the reverse, or drive on the automatic transmission. My buttons work, and of course, I'm parked and I press the brake pedal (and the pedal works too).
