TOPIC: Driving Force GT - Steering Problem

Driving Force GT - Steering Problem 31 Jan 2014 18:47 #22482

So everything works fine, all the buttons, and the steering is also turning, but its not synced like in the game:

-I done the 900* in the settings, and also checked the joystick/steering wheel option in-game

BUT, I have to turn my steerwheel around 180* or something so its het into the center position in the game. This is not normal right? I just got the steering wheel today and it doesn't work like it should.. I played around with the general settings in game but they don't seem to work. How can I get the wheel centered in-game, without having to turn it 45-90-.. degrees?

So basically, I can only play this game with 900 degrees, if my steer is upside down in real life, then it will be normal in the game. How can I change this? Changing degrees doesn't help.

First of all you should update your wheel drivers, then you should calibrate and check correct working of your wheel in the Windows. Then you should take into account – before running the simulator you should connect the wheel and wait until the end of its auto calibration. Then run the simulator and assign wheel actions in the game settings menu. When you will be assigning wheel steering actions you should turn your wheel until the block in proper direction. Rarely this procedure of wheel steering assigning should be repeated after you select car, location and fully load the driving.
