TOPIC: City Car Driving Install Problems

City Car Driving Install Problems 06 Feb 2014 11:48 #22807

Hi everyone! I am having problems installing City Car Driving. I once installed it and got errors, so I tried to uninstall it and it didn't work, it said the game was still on. So I restarted my PC, and I deleted the Forward Development file. Now I went to re-install
it, and it won't work. It says City Car Driving is still installed, even after I deleted City Car Driving and all its files. Please help, I just bought the game today, I feel like I wasted 25 bucks!:(

Hello,

1. Download and install the previous version of the game (1.2.5) using this link – citycardriving.com/files/CityCarDriving_1.2.5.exe
2. Uninstall the game correctly using the "Programs and components" menu in the control panel.
3. Delete the game folder, where the game was installed to (if something remains after uninstallation there).
4. Delete the folder "Forward Development" from your "My Documents" folder.
5. Install the latest version of the game 1.3. After previous steps it should be installed correctly without any errors.

Whenever I go to open it, it takes a long time for it to load. Then it asks for the serial number that I have yet to enter because the game stops responding when I click in it. Is there any fix? Once again, I feel like this is a waste.:(

Contact the techincal support.

Send us an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with following information:

1. Your order ID or serial number to identify you as our customer.

2. Detailed problem description and steps, which you've done to cause the problem.

3. Attach a screenshot of the error (if there's one).

4. Attach a DirectX diagnostic file from your PC, where the problem is. To create this file, please, follow these steps:

● From your Windows "Start" button, select "Run..."
● Type DXDIAG in the "Open:" field and hit Enter.
● DXDIAG will start, and may display a prompt that begins "Do you want to allow DxDiag to check if your drivers are digitally signed..." Answer "Yes" to this query if it appears.
● A window entitled "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" appears, and in the lower left corner, a progress meter begins to advance towards the right as DXDIAG collects information relating to the system's hardware and Windows component configuration.
● When the progress indicator disappears, hit the "Save All Information" button. Then save this file as DXDIAG.TXT where it can be easily located. By default, DXDIAG will place this file on your Desktop.

Note: If you do not see a button that allows you to save the output, you will need to log on to Windows as the Administrator.

We will research all this information and then will advise you next steps.
