Hey guys, I am having a lot of trouble with this exercise. In reality I drive an auto so I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

The problem is that I always stall when doing this exercise. I can move forward in first gear fine, then I switch to reverse but whenever I brake or take my foot off the pedal I stall and I have to start again. I have done this exercise a number of times and I can not progress to novice until it is completed.

If you use car with manual transmission you can't just brake or take off your foot from the pedal.

You should press and hold the clutch pedal, switch to the "1-st" gear, then very slowly release the clutch pedal and carefully press the accelerator pedal simultaneously. The same way is for switching to the "R" gear.
