Hello,

I should be building a new PC soon, it will have 2.4ghz Core 2 Quad, 4GB DDR2 Ram (maybe 8) and a HD7750 Low profile card.

What kind of settings will this run CCD on? I may use a better processor such as a 3.0ghz Core 2 Quad.

Currently I use a Pentium 4 3.0ghz HT, 3GB DDR Ram, HD 3850 AGP. It runs fine, but I only use minimum settings.

By the way I will be using Windows XP Pro 64 Bit

Thanks

That's a terrible build. Low settings for sure. Why Windows XP?

windows xp runs things a bit faster. There are less support for it but it can help with computer speed.

Windows XP in not supported by Microsoft anymore (End of Life). It is possible CCD will not support XP.

I would get a better processor (www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113280)
I have the A10 and its is cheap and very fast and reliable. Also has integrated graphics to get you started. Very good.
Also WIn7 is a good OS for CCD. I have Win 8.1, but it gets some getting used to (It is very fast and quick)
If you want to, this graphic card runs www.iracing.com at high settings. Very very fast and reliable. www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=COD9zaGb170CFRQS7Aodjw0AsQ&Item=N82E16814121642R&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Desktop+Graphics+Cards-_-

The processor and the Graphic card cost 100 a piece. Very inexpensive but great quality.
Also a SSD makes a huge difference. Have like 60Gb for your OS and CCD and then a normal large hard drive for stuff that is not important.

Thats all.

Really only minimum settings?

I use minimum settings on my Pentium 4 and HD3850. I was hoping the newer parts would be a lot better (I'm used to minimum settings, so I won't mind if I had to). I already have the parts, just some that I had laying around various places (apart from the graphics card, haven't got that yet).

I'm limited on graphics cards as I'm going to use a SFF case, I'm fed up of having giant computers around, lol.

Is there any other graphics card that os more powerful but low profile? I want one that is actually low profile, not just one that says low profile but isn't the proper low profile size.

I'm using XP as I think it is the best. I don't like Windows Vista/7/8, that is why I bought a Mac as my main computer, once XP is too old, i'll dump Windows completely. I know XP is not supported anymore, doesn't mean I can't still use it.

I know a lot about computers, just don't know much about how well CCD will run on this system.

Also, I'm not sure why there is a emoticon in my original post, it should say 8gb of ram.

Just to make it clear, I'm not talking about the P4 computer. I'm talking about the C2Q one.

AND.. I will recommend to buy an extra 4 GB Ram or get 8 GB ram.. 4 GB still low.
And yes, it should be very laggy on your computer because these specs aren't good , very low specs and City Car Driving 1.3.3 isn't optimized so it lags with Titan GTX and with 32 gb ram and with i7 9....k 5,* GHz

RAM isn't entirely necessary for gaming PC's. Unless you're playing games that require a lot of rendering, like minecraft, high RAM isn't mandatory. Most gaming PCs don't even have over 8GB of ram.
