Any plans for PS3/Xbox 25 Apr 2014 19:14 #27360

Are there any plans to release this game for PS3/4 ? PlayStation because they support Logitech G27, but Xbox will do fine to.

I don't understand the reasoning now days to have a Windows PC just for a handfull of games, most people use their Smartphones, iPad's, or laptops that are either a Mac or ChromeBook or they are not powerfull enought for a game. And they do buy consoles for games like this. I know that anoung my friends only one is stubern to deny the consoles and has a Windows gaming station.

I do realised that this simulator's main target are not home users, but I think there is a market share for this to.

For developer/managers: Please consider this option, I think theere will be enought passionates to buy this game for consoles.

Regards,
Radu M

Probably not, due to the fact that they would have to recode the game, and porting games in a pain in the ass.

I agree with David, most of the "games" are for PS4 /Xbox. This is a "simulation". Do you see those on PS4? Probably not (Granturismo IS NOT A SIMULATOR). Look at iRacing for example. Gaming consoles do not have the graphics to run that (probably not).

I think seje too expensive to be able to release a game for consoles (PlayStation / XBOX). Not counting the reprogramming of the game for the same.

a PlayStation or Xbox version is a bad idea in my opinion because most people who play this simulator like to install mods on it because there are very few developer cars and mod cars are just nicer :)
That thing got a hemi?

I agree. Other than that, the game's selling price will rise because of the costs.

Yeah. Also, consoles don't have the compatibility that PC has. Steam is a better option that console.

Agree, I wanted to mention Steam to, but in the end I forgot.

I am actually looking for a gaming platform, and as my wife is learning how to drive right now and this is one of the best simulators (only real one that I found) to learn driving outside of a real car.

Unfortunately for this I need a Windows PC, for my soon and familly overall a Xbox with kinect is the best option, PS3 is cheaper ...

Thinks to consider:
Windows PC:
+ works with CCD
+ works with G27
+ multidude of games
- is more expensive than a console

Xbox:
+ kinect
- no G27
- expensive in relation to PS

PS:
+ G27
+ chepeast hardware investment

I have the tendency to buy a PC for gaming, but I would like to be able to run this on my MBP via Steam. Hard choices when you can't invest in all of them ... :)

Thanks all for your info.

I would get this if you were really serious:

Also, you can get HP Tower with intel i5 cheap and throw a graphic card in it. That is all you would need.
