FFB dead zone issue with CSR wheel! 13 May 2014 02:06 #28439

Hi,i tried the FFB with my Fanatec wheel and i noticed a weak of force rotation,spinning)

Is it possible to édit a .ini file to eliminate the ffb "deadzone" in the very first degrees of rotation??

Is it normal,i don't have any vibration/rumble on the road??:( (only when the car hits walls...etc)

ps: My csr Fanatec wheel can emulating a G25 wheel ,to using logitech profiler"...i tried that and the FFB is a little more reactive,

...but sometime my wheel is not calibrate correctely...i need to create a new profil,again and with a few luck ,it works,but not everytime!:(

I find this on the game.ini :

insignificant_force=10.000000
g_GroundFrictionFactor=0.5000000
EnableCinema=false
UseIniProfile=false
ProfileName="Новый пользователь"
v_RenderPhysicsAndCarRelatedStuff=false
StartStatistics=false

Wich setting i can change to got a better force feedback ,please!

Can you explaine what is those setting??

Don't run through Logitech Profiler. Pretty much what you need to do is turn up the force feedback settings in Profiler and CCD. Also, you don't need to make a new profile, just simply unplug, and plug back in the wheel.

It's only good for certain racing games, not that good for games like CCD or ETS2.

STop your troll,son!:)

I 've got a G27 since 2 years and it is a good and strong racing wheel...but ,the rim is too small and the H pattern and the pedals are like a toy compared to csr,trust me!

My fanatec + élite pedals (with load cell)works very good and the FFB is much stronger and smooth compared to my old G27...so!:cheer:

Finaly,i solved my issue of calibration failed in THIS GAME...it is due to windows auto updated DFGT driver!lol!

I have reinstalled last logitech profiler,launch my wheel into ps3 mode = emulation of G 25,like my pc reconised it!

The best thing with csr wheel is the LCD display ,with 5 setup /tuning mode enable to change on the fly/in game:

-spring,dampening,linearity,drift mode(for smooth return to center = 5 levels),abs(for vibration of the brake pedal)

All my sims got a woderfull FFB effects,like project Cars,Assetto Corsa,RRRE,Rfactor,GTR2, Sega Model 2 emulator,Daytona usa,sega rally = better then the legendary arcade cab!B)

Finaly,the G25 emulation on csr is good and the feeling is very realistic and natural...like my car IRL!

...I have got a Buttckiker gamer V2 and the rumbles are very strong and realistic o my playseat custom!

So,the weak of vibration on CCD is combled by my buttckiker!

ps: Nobody can answer my second question,game.ini value??PLEASE!
