Hello. I've downloaded and installed the 1.4.0 but the "new city" option doesn't work. There is a new scroll bar which says "old city" but when it is clicked there is no reaction (cannot change to "new city"). The icon color background is black.

Also, when I choose force feedback for my steering wheel in the settings, the game quits by itself ("starter application stopped working"). I am using speedwheel 6MT from Genius.

Please help me on this, especially with the new city.

On a positive note, the screeches of the tires work well.

Thanks

Hello,
In your game, do you drive on the left side? This new city is not available yet on left hand traffic.
Also, when I choose force feedback for my steering wheel in the settings, the game quits by itself ("starter application stopped working"). I am using speedwheel 6MT from Genius.
Try to delete your "Forward Development" folder from your documents library.

Im experiencing incidents when randomly:
-The handbrake is activated
-The engine is shut off
-The camera changes
-The navigator changes
-The hazard warning lights turn on
-Even other stuff can change

An incident may consist of either one or more things mensioned above happening...

This happens at random moments throughout the game, also experienced these issues with version 1.2.2, it's making the game kinda unplayable :(

I am very disapointed in 1.4, it seems that 1.3.3 was better!!

Engine doesn't start, braking is very bad. Your wheels are spinning to fast.

Lenkrad Logitech G27 in Settings not available. Clutch not relatable. In Vers. 1.3.3 was it not problem.

Hello Developers,

I bought C.C.D. as the first game to play with our new Logitech G27 steering wheel. I am new to racing simulations so please be patient with me. My main intention was to teach my daughter the principles of driving and, in particular, using a manual transmission. So far, I am not disappointed! I am running the game on a four year old gaming laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285M graphics car on lowest settings so far. Frame rates are excellent, and I will try to improve the graphics step by step. But even on the lowest settings, the game looks good enough for me.

So far, my biggest problem are the loading times. My laptop has 4 GB of RAM, and it takes forever to load the Free Driving level. I will try to provide loading times later to compare to others with better computers.

In addition I had several crashes of the Starter Application.

They may be related to trying free driving at night with rain on. Combined with the long loading times it is very tedious to narrow down the reason for the crashes.

At one time, I got a message window titled "nebula"

with the following text in it:
nMesh2: could not load geometry
'home:export/meshes/characters/passangers/woman_driver_02.nvx2
'!

This is the most specific info I got so far.

I am looking forward to play more with this nice sim!

Best regards,
DrT

I had the same problem until I installed the "Logitech Gaming Software" from support.logitech.com/de_at/product/g27-racing-wheel. Then the wheel showed up in CCD.

Best regards,
DrT
