TOPIC: Windows 8: Error Handling

Windows 8: Error Handling 26 Dec 2014 10:53 #38875

I keep trying to run City Car Driving Simulator on Administrator Privileges, and yes I did install using Administrator privileges, but every time I run the program, my computer freezes and immediately crashes! I need help! I bought a $20+ dollar game and it doesn't even work :pinch: Is there any fix?

My Computer Specs:

Windows 8 (With Latest Updates as of 12/25/14)
AMD A6-6400K 3.6GHz Dual Core
8GB Ram
1000Mb Dedicated Video Memory

So I'm assuming it's not my computer, but Windows itself and the compatibility... Is there a fix to this? And if not... Is there a refund?

Try to delete the Forward Development folder from your Documents library. If that still doesn't work, try running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7.

Already tried the compatibility thing, and there is no Forward Development folder in my Documents... I have seen past forum discussions on this and tried virtually everything.

Hello,

Please, try these steps:

1. Turn of the UAC - windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/turn-user-account-control-on-off#1TC=windows-7

2. Temporary turn off any antivirus or firewall software.

After that run the game as administrator (right click on its' shortcut and choose "Run as administrator" in the context menu) and enter your activation key again.
