I just purchased CCD today and am looking for assistance in customization for controls and most importantly field of view.

I am running it on a 3 monitor setup with an obutto ozone and a Logitech G27. What I want is a driver's seat view with 110 degree FoV. There must be a rendering engine config file that changes FoV but I'm not sure where to look.
I've looked into just about every config file and the only mention to FOV I could find was in the freecamera.ini file. Changing that didn't seem to do anything for me though.

Though I can use logitech's utility to customize the finer points of my g27, I find it disappointing that these options are not available in the game's gui.

That being said. I would like to complement the game's creator's, the customization of the driving experience, such as traffic density, AI behavior, weather, time of day, and overall feel of the driving environments is absolutely fantastic. The feel of this game is exactly what I've searched for.

You may change the FOV per car by manually editing the xml file.

Which file do I need to edit to adjust the FOV?

Edit:
I've tried editing the cameras.xml file, but the only angle I was able to change is the over the bonet view. I have no idea though how to change the inside the car angle. Any ideas would be appreciated.

You don't have to change for each car, there is a common camera file for all cars and it changes the FOV inside the car. The file is ...\City Car Driving Home Edition\data\gamedata\cars\cameras_common.xml.
All you have to do is change all the 50.0s to 110.0s in the file, and the two 36.0 to 79.2, and you're good to go.

I used it to change the FOV for my Oculus Rift and it worked. Only problem with that is the unreal 3D effect you get on OR and makes you sick in few minutes. That's why CCD developers GOT TO HAVE PROPER O.R. SUPPORT BY NOW!!! It's just unbelievable how long it takes them to patch the game with OR support, when ETS2 and various other games implemented it WAAAAAAAY back in 2013 on the DK1 and right after made a DK2 support...Just pathetic, I've been waiting for more than a year on this. Dem developers and their empty promises.

Briliant, thanks a lot. I have no idea how I could have missed that file. Also I wonder if it wouldn't be quicker to remake that game in the UDK4 than fixing all the current bugs and optimization problems :)

Oculus Rift support is coming in v1.5. It was announced by Kivlov, along with a new district in the New City.

Can we expect also some optimizations as well? The new city at the current state gives me in some areas half the fps comparing to the old one.

This suggests other things will hopefully be implanted.
