What PC specs are recommend for CCD? 16 Mar 2015 07:04 #43100

In order to achieve high quality gaming performance with many mods installed to traffic, even on DX11, what computer components & PC specs are highly recommended? I'm wondering that because every time I install many mods to traffic, I have to shut off DX11, adjust my graphics to the least qualitative & even then, my game still lags & my car will sometimes even steer w/out me touching any keys. Thank you.

This is because you have an integrated video card, which does not provide good preformance.

Hi,
I think your game is running poorly because you are using an integrated graphics card. I would suggest using a discrete card, or even getting a desktop PC for the best gaming experience. Here are my specifications:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600k @4.4 GHz
Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V Pro
RAM: 16.0 GB
OS: 64-bit Windows 7
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 dual SLI

Thank you, thank you thank you for informing me as to why. :cheer: I'll have to consider getting a discrete card/getting my integrated video card taken out & replaced w/a discrete card because I don't know how to take apart my computer, take out my integrated integrated card, put in a discrete card & put it back together. David & Jericho, I'd really love to thank you for informing me about why my game is so laggy w/the mods in my game & why I can't play on DX11 while I have mods installed. :cheer: :cheer: You guys are a big help & you guys are heroes. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Glad I could help. I know how it feels to have lag. I'm building a PC with a discrete card, but for now, I have an integrated card like you.

I recommend getting a discrete card from Newegg.com,

I would recommend ordering a PC as is if you have no tech experience, they aren't really expensive. Whatever you do, don't get a laptop unless its specifically a "Gaming laptop", even then you won't get as best of experience you would achieve in a Desktop. On a plus side you can fully upgrade desktops, while you can only update Ram, battery etc on a laptop. When it comes to gaming computer companies I recommend CyberPowerPC and Alienware.
I'm not sure if you're American or not, but you can get a pretty good gaming PC for under $500 off of Amazon.
