I m new to driving and having tough time. 04 May 2015 10:07 #44608

Hi,
I m a student learner and I am having tough time Driving behind the wheels and is freaking me out. I found this driving simulator and wanted to know if this will help me improve my driving skills.

I have a couple of questions regarding city car simulator.
1. Is there any demo version of this simulator which i could try?
2. What kind of setup do i need for playing this game?
3. Do we need a particular brand racing wheel which is compatible with the game or any generic version is good to go?

Hi Wilma, welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, there is no DEMO for City Car Driving. To play all you need is a decent PC, a keyboard, and a mouse, however, it is recommended that you get either a G27, G25 or Driving Force GT steering wheel. Pretty much all steering wheels work, however some are more realistic than others.

If you want the best experience and most realistic experience with the game, it is recommended that you purchase a Thrustmaster T500RS Steering wheel, which is 1080 degrees and is valued at $585. It is also recommended to purchase a TrackIR 5, which is valued at $149.95. It is as well recommended that you own a total of 3 monitors, which can value (for 2 23.6 inch), a total of $312.

That will cost about $1047, but to answer your question, most steering wheels work, just some or more recommended than others.

I believe there is a demo (only in Russian) for the version 1.2, but I may be wrong.

This demo is long gone.

Hi,
There is no demo for this game, sadly
I have a duel core with an APU (in built graphics card) an it works fine on middle to lower settings although heavy traffic does cause some problems - minor lag.
You do not need a steering wheel although it does help (i don't have one and it is fine).

Hope this helps!
