Everytime I open launch my game, I get the "Some files are corrupted" error and my game crashes. I have tried reinstalling my game and it would work the first launch, but once I want to relaunch the game, it shows this error. I do NOT have any mods installed or changed any files, so I have no idea why I have this problem. This is frustatrating. The only way to play is to reinstall it everytime, but that is annoying.

Try to delete the Forward Development folder in your Documents library, then uninstall. Then download again a new setup file, then install as administrator.

From the FAQ:
This message means the game installation file was broken during the download. If you have problems with downloading the game, please, try re-downloading the game from one of mirror links:

www.distrib.forward-development.ru/setup/CityCarDriving_En.exe

www.mediafire.com/download/j7qi4wp3jbt8pz1/CityCarDriving_En.exe

goo.gl/zuhS3v

We recommend using some download manager to download the game without any errors.
Also try turning off any antivirus or firewall software during the game downloading. It can help in some cases.

Same thing keeps happening. I have tried deleting everything from program files to the folders in my documents and running installer and game as Admin and I am able to play the game on the first launch. After I try to launch the game again, I get the files corrupted error.

Another entry from the FAQ:Developer wrote:
Please carefully follow these steps:

1. Make sure that your computer meets at least minimal system requirements - citycardriving.com/products/citycardriving#SysReq
It's very important! Because, correct program operation on laptops or on personal computers with integrated video cards is not guaranteed!

2. Try launching the game with administrator privileges (right click on it and choose "Run as administrator" in the context menu).

3. Try re-installing the game, but run the distribution kit with administrator privileges (right click on it and choose "Run as administrator" in the context menu). During the installation process you should agree on installing all additional software, because it's necessary for correct program operation.

4. Make sure that folder name and path, where the game has been installed, doesn't contain long names or wrong (non-english) symbols.

5. Update your video card driver to the latest version from your video card manufacturer's website.

6. Update your sound card driver to the latest version from your sound card manufacturer's website.

7. If you're using a racing wheel (or any other controller), update its driver to the latest version from your controller manufacturer's website.

8. Install the "DirectX 9.0c" (latest build from Microsoft website) -
- www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3

9. Install the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package" (from Microsoft website) -
- www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=a5c84275-3b97-4ab7-a40d-3802b2af5fc2&displaylang=en

10. If you have any other versions of the "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package" installed, you should uninstall all these versions (you can do it in the "Control Panel\Programs and Features" menu), and then reinstall only this version of the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package" (from Microsoft website) -
- www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=a5c84275-3b97-4ab7-a40d-3802b2af5fc2&displaylang=en

11. Check one more time that your PC is NOT A NOTEBOOK, do have a suitable video card and other parameters according to our system requirements for game running. It's very important! Because, correct program operation on laptops or on personal computers with integrated video cards is not guaranteed!

And if it doesn't help:Developer wrote:
Actions above help in the most cases, but if these actions didn't help you - email our technical support team to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and in your email please send us the following information:

1. Your order ID or serial number to identify you as our customer.

2. Detailed problem description and steps after performing of which the problem occurs. Have you installed any mods?

3. Attach a screenshot of the error (if there's one).

4. Attach a DirectX diagnostic file from your PC, where the problem occurs. To create this file, please, follow these steps:

● From your Windows "Start" button, select "Run..."
● Type DXDIAG in the "Open:" field and hit Enter.
● DXDIAG will start, and may display a prompt that begins "Do you want to allow DxDiag to check if your drivers are digitally signed..." Answer "Yes" to this query if it appears.
● A window entitled "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" appears, and in the lower left corner, a progress meter begins to advance towards the right as DXDIAG collects information relating to the system's hardware and Windows component configuration.
● When the progress indicator disappears, hit the "Save All Information" button. Then save this file as DXDIAG.TXT where it can be easily located. By default, DXDIAG will place this file on your Desktop. Then send this file to us.

We will research all this information and then will advise you next steps.

Note: If you do not see a button that allows you to save the output, you will need to log on to Windows as the Administrator.
